Spend Two Hours to Get More Business This Summer

What are you going to do to get more business this summer?

The schools are closing down for the summer holidays; the sun is out and there's much to celebrate.

But if you're a business professional, you may well be predicting a slow couple of months ahead between now and the August Bank Holiday weekend.

It's very easy to think "Well, everyone's on their holidays and nothing much gets done at this time of year - but it always picks up again in September".

Plenty of businesses just idle through late July and the whole of August, making the best of the income from their existing customers and projects booked in before the holidays began.

But there's no reason why you can't develop new business opportunities over the summer. Not everyone is taking a holiday and many businesses are open and receptive to new ideas and incentives at a time when blue sky thinking has never seemed so appropriate.

One very simple thing you can do is get out of the office and meet new people.

Come along to lunch at the Shehnai in London Street, Reading on Wednesdays between 12 noon and 2pm.

You'll meet people who want to hear about what you do and who actively go out of their way to support local businesses because they have a philosophy of "givers gain". And most of all, they know new business doesn't have to to dry up every August along with the rain.

Contact us today and book your place at our next lunch meeting.

There are no strings attached and you will have an opportunity to meet all of our members and other visitors, introduce your business to the group and hand out your business cards. You'll find a very receptive audience, welcoming, friendly faces and of course a good lunch. You just need to bring £10.00 to cover the meeting fee (including lunch and tea/coffee) and of course plenty of business cards.
